University of Exeter

The University of Exeter, also known as Exon, is renowned for its School of Arts founded in the second half of the 19th century in 1855. It is considered one of the top 100 universities in the world and is in the top 20 in the UK. It was selected by The Times as the university of the year (2016) for sports practice and research. J.K. Rolling (Harry Potter author) and Thom Yorke (lead singer of Radiohead) are Exeter alumni.
