Its campus is just 40 minutes from New York City and 20 minutes from JFK airport. Adelphi University has more than 60 undergraduate programs and 19 graduate programs. With 5,000 undergraduate students and 2,600 graduate and doctoral students, Adelphi has a ratio of 1 professor for every 10 students. The faculty includes internationally renowned scientists, artists, critics and scholars.

Pathways

Unlike Brazil, there are no entrance exams in other countries. Admission for international students is usually determined by academic performance, a good level of English, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, references, and good results on standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT). In the United Kingdom and Australia, the Foundation program is mandatory for Brazilian students who have completed high school. It lasts an average of nine months, and it is possible to enroll on various dates throughout the year. In the US and Canada, Pathways is a great option for entering excellent universities, as it is a preparatory program with university credits. It lasts between six and twelve months, with enrollment dates throughout the year.
