Manchester Metropolitan University

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is located in the center of Manchester, England. The university has over 40,000 students and more than 4,000 staff, making it one of the largest in the UK.   MMU is made up of four faculties: Arts and Humanities, Business and Law, Health and Education, and Science and Engineering. The university excels in research, with 90% of its research impact classified as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. In addition, 30% of the institution’s overall research is classified at the highest ‘world-leading’ level. Pathways

Unlike Brazil, there are no entrance exams in other countries. Admission for international students is usually determined by academic performance, a good level of English, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, references, and good results on standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT). In the United Kingdom and Australia, the Foundation program is mandatory for Brazilian students who have completed high school. It lasts an average of nine months, and it is possible to enroll on various dates throughout the year. In the US and Canada, Pathways is a great option for entering excellent universities, as it is a preparatory program with university credits. It lasts between six and twelve months, with enrollment dates throughout the year.
